Looking to Sunday is produced thanks to the time and talent of the individuals listed below.  But most of all, Looking to Sunday is produced thanks to the inspiration and guidance of the Holy Spirit.

  • Father Tom Iwanowski

    Father Tom Iwanowski is the author of Looking to Sunday®. He is a Roman Catholic priest, ordained in 1975.  He has served in various parishes in the Archdiocese of Newark and is a former Director of the Office of Divine Worship. He has a Masters Degree in Scriptural Studies and is a former Adjunct Professor of Homiletics. He has written many articles dealing with liturgy and parish life and coauthored five books of Lenten Reflections published by Ave Maria Press and Renew International.

  • Mr. Heath Winborn

    Heath Winborn is responsible for the design and appearance of Looking to Sunday®. He is the Associate Director of Facilities at Kellogg Global Hub at the Kellogg School of Management located at Northwestern University. He previously served as the Director of Operations at three Catholic Parishes and also was employed at the Guggenheim Museum in New York as an Assistant Theater Director and Design Technician.


  • NANCY Méndez-Booth

    Nancy Méndez-Booth is the editor of Looking to Sunday. She is is a Jersey City-based writer/editor, educator, and performer. Winner of the JCAC 2020 Literary Arts award, her work has appeared in print and online, including Poets & Writers and Salon, and she has performed at venues including Cornelia Street Cafe and The Moth. Nancy is an alum of Rutgers-Newark (MFA, MA), Amherst College (BA), as well as the recipient of residencies to Vermont Studio Center, Martha's Vineyard Institute of Creative Writing, Blue Mountain Center, and NJ Women Playwrights Program. She currently serves as a technical writer and editor for clients including Stevens Institute of Technology.   • Mr. Michael Rivera

    Michael Rivera is responsible for posting the audio versions of Looking to Sunday® .  Michael is currently a Pastoral Musician within the Archdiocese of Newark and the surrounding dioceses, substituting as Organist, Pianist, and Cantor. He previously served as Director of Music Ministries at Our Lady of Mercy in Jersey City from 2017-2022. He is a Member of the National Association of Pastoral Musicians and is a certified NPM Cantor. Michael is also a Music Teacher in the New Jersey Public School System, teaching Vocal Music and director of two choirs in his district: an Elementary Choir and a Junior/Senior High School Choir . 

    Michael holds a Bachelor of Arts in English and a Master of Arts in Teaching with a Concentration in Music Education degrees, both from Montclair State University. He is currently working on a Master of Arts in Music from the University of Mary in North Dakota. Michael has had the honor of performing in choirs that have sung at the New Jersey Performing Arts Center, New York City Center, and in 2015 at the Auditorium di Santo Stefano al Ponte in Florence, Italy.   • Mr. Liam Barredo

    Liam Barredo is the Director of Social Media for Looking to Sunday®. Liam is a vocalist with a degree in Music Business with a concentration in Classical Voice & Popular Music from New Jersey City University. Liam has been a Cantor/Song Leader/Worship Leader for the past 12 years. Currently he serves as Music Director of Our Lady of Mercy Church in Jersey City, NJ. He is a member of the National Pastoral Musicians and is a certified NPM cantor.

    Liam is also a recording artist. In the past he has performed at the famed "Newark Symphony Hall" on the same bill with Grammy Nominated/Stellar Award Winner Gospel Music Star Kierra Sheard.   • Mrs. Diane Hellriegel

    Diane Hellriegel previously was the editor of Looking to Sunday. She was a former editor for a major publishing company as well as a published author of books for teachers and children. She spent fourteen years teaching religion to children in grades K-8 and was the Director of Communications for Saint Joseph Roman Catholic Parish in Oradell and New Milford, NJ.
